Park Development
Cameron Park Project!
The Cameron Park Building was closed in 2024 due to the condition of the building and facilities. The Parks and Recreation Department since that time have been working to renovate and re-open the restroom facility as a new and improved restroom with park storage and a programming/rental space for the community. This project was identified by the Parks and Recreation Commission and the City Council as a priority. The project is being designed by DSGW Architecture. The project went out for quotes in December of 2024 and was awarded to Frenzel Construction. Construction is anticipated to begin in Spring with the re-opening of the building by September 1st!
